高级警官华岂伦（陈小春饰）奉命调查此案，他出人意料地选了即将退休又胆小怕死的老警察介叔（柯受良饰）做他的搭档。其实介叔以前也很勇猛，他的两个干儿子晓泰（古天乐饰）和子年（谢天华饰）也是警察，当年三人同在旺角警署工作，号称“旺角三鹰”，但后来不知怎么子年殉职，晓泰坐牢，介叔也日渐消沉。。花好きの青年カナタ、クリスマスイブに恋人ミサキにフられたカナタは 「マッチング・ラブ」 という不思議なサイトに出会う。このサイトは質問に答えていくだけで、同じ恋愛の価値観を持つ異性を探すことができるマッチングサイトだった。。A group of science students have discovered how to scientifically explain the paranormal.
