His new animal friends need to get him back to his ship and teach him about friendship and fun before his Space-Conqueror father can take over the planet.。【閃亮的青春】的故事發生在美國喬治亞州的亞特蘭大，男主角 Cyrus DeBarge，是個充滿音樂天份卻十分害羞的青少年，由於父親是位十分傳統保守的牧師，不認為 Cyrus 所喜歡的嘻哈音樂能傳達什麼正面態度，這也讓 Cyrus 更加內向缺乏自信。而 Cyrus 和他從小一起長大的好朋友 Kris McDuffy 非常高興他們有位兒時玩伴 Roxanne Andrews 如今是當紅的青春偶像歌手，而且她的唱片公司即將展開創作競賽為她徵求新曲，於是天份卓越的 Cyrus 以假名「Truth」投稿，還贏得了比賽，但是大家卻誤會以為歌曲創作者是 Kris，看到好友佔了自己的功勞，內向的 Cyrus 卻提不起勇氣站出來，甚至眼睜睜看著 Kris 贏得 Roxanne 的芳心…如今 Cyrus 要如何克服本身的弱點，挺身而出為自己的夢想而戰呢？。
