本片讲述了民乐团解散，视音乐为生命的民乐手们离开了舞台。经历了打拼、磨难和努力，变幻了一幕幕人间悲喜剧，民乐最终回到阳光灿烂的舞台。他们演绎出一群民乐人逐梦的精彩……。李雯雯（丁绮 饰）一家为了完成爷爷李隆（韩新民饰）的愿望，回到了故土厦门。李雯雯转学到爷爷的母校——具有百年历史的诚毅中学就读，和陈晨（黄诗佳 饰）等成为同班同学。 此时恰逢诚毅中学恢复重办“诚毅讲堂”，学校话剧社的同学们决定以该校校友——著名爱国女英雄李林的生平事迹为题材 ，排演一部话剧在“诚毅讲堂”上进行演出，话剧社社长萧峰（刘钊宏 饰）选定了李雯雯担任这个角色。然而话剧的排演过程并不顺利……。The film was written and directed by Stuart Urban, and commissioned to mark the tenth anniversary of the Falklands War. The film was closely based on the historical record, and all of the major incidents portrayed were drawn from contemporary accounts by those who took part. Filming took place on the Falkland Islands and at Ealing Studios. Urban is a fluent Spanish-speaker, and plays an uncredited role as the Argentine radio operator.。
