« Le Mirage » is the perspective of a man in his thirties asking himself "what am I chasing?" Our society has become all about consumerism, if not excess. Success is determined by what and how much we have and "stuff" becomes the band-aid to a meaningless existence. Stuff fills the void of the existence we weren't meant to lead.。本是落魄的富家子弟，阴差阳错成为高家赘婿，在被不断羞辱的同时，还被人疯狂杀害，本来觉得命运不公，却不想上天给了他新的重生机会，这一世他改变懦弱，疯狂赚钱成为首富，打脸复仇发展势力，一路狂飙压倒众人。本来觉得自己将顺利走完新的人生，迎娶理想完。电影美术指导芙月（林依晨饰）为了返家照顾病重的父亲，不得不中途离开剧组，放下正在改建的台北古宅，陪着家人回到家乡嘉义，在这段回到故乡陪伴父亲的日子里，芙月踏遍了阿公生前的足迹，回想起阿公的信念和传承的信仰，找回自己新生的力量。。
