在赵闪闪（包贝尔 饰）青春期的里，遇见了李春霞（孙怡 饰）和被称作“四大天王”的小伙伴。一方面，他和“四大天王”共同对抗校外古惑仔；一方面，他又经历着和李春霞若即若离的关系。男孩的意气风发和羞涩内敛在赵闪闪体内消化，共融。 直到赵闪闪和李春霞共同考入一所高中，才终于给了爱情萌芽的机会。两人在一起的时间美妙而刻骨铭心。可是好景不长，师长的压力、古惑仔的干预让两人终于再次分开。 高考结束之后，赵闪闪和李春霞都还记得金榜题名再续前缘的诺言，然而落榜的打击却让赵闪闪再次与心爱之人天各一方。虽然在“补录”之下踏入高等学府，赵闪闪却在突如其来的大世界面前再次迷失方向。直到他与电影相逢，才发现最美好的地方就是光影森林，从此发誓要用电影来留住青春，挽回爱情……。A group of students who are participating in a university's summer science camp are drawn into an incredible quagmire of conflicts, ranging from the relatively simple conflict between an engaging and forthright young teacher and his older manipulative colleague, to a contest pitting political correctness against free scientific inquiry.
